Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry

The Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry brings to life the industrial and canal history of Seneca Falls through its four dioramas, artifacts and large mural drawing and maps. The three floor museum shows how the harnessing of water power on the Seneca River gave rise to numerous industries making Seneca Falls the “fire engine capital of the world” and the “pump capital of North and South America”. A full-sized packet boat plies the waters of a life-sized canal cross-section.
