Arboretum
The Nannen Arboretum is part of the Cornell University cooperative Extension Home Grounds and Community Horticulture educational program. it is a non-profit, volunteer based organization dedicated to providing home garden and natural resource education, test plots for research, and an opportunity for nature appreciation and leisure. The 8 acre site, open year round, is a sanctuary for hundreds of trees, shrubs, perennial flowers, herbs and nature walks. It also includes a Japanese meditation garden, a pond with a fish, and 2 wonderful locations for wedding ceremonies and outdoor educational events at the Chapman Nature Sanctuary and the Northrup Nature Hall. Admission is free; donations are greatfully accepted.

Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary
Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, a family owned, not-for-profit, 501c3 organization, located in northeastern Cattaraugus County. Where can you observe over 350 waterfowl, over 24 exotic species and feed them out of your hand? Where can you see singing, dancing swans that fly 100 m.p.h.? Would you like to save the NeNe Geese, the only endangered geese, that are native to Hawaii? OUR MISSION:To protect waterfowl in a natural habitat and foster the preservation of endangered species. Gooseneck Hill is open Sundays from July 5 to August 30 from 2-5 PM and anytime for groups or buses of 15 or more. Cost is $7 & $5 for Seniors & Child. The tour includes: a humorous, educational slide show, adult puppet and parrot show, gift shop (1,000 items) and hand feed the 350 birds and 1,000 koi fish.
Griffis Sculpture Park
The Griffis Sculpture Park, founded in 1966, is the first and largest sculpture park in the country. The park features a variety of natural habitats including forests, ponds, wetlands, and alpine meadows. Within this breathtaking landscape are more that 225 monumental sculptures by local, national, and international artists. Hike miles of beautiful trails and interact with unique works of art like never before. The Griffis Sculpture Park is also an arts in education interactive learning environment where students of all ages experience the arts in a way not found anywhere else.
